Lace up your sneakers for this year’s American Heart Association Boston Heart Walk, Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade. BWH once again will add its energetic stride to this annual fundraiser, which supports cardiovascular research, advocacy and education.
“The AHA has raised millions of research dollars for Boston hospitals, and of all the hospitals, BWH has received the most funding,” said BWH President Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA. “Taking part in this event is one way we can say thank you to the AHA for its commitment to supporting our mission of care, research and education.”
BWH’s goal is to raise $50,000. E-mail BWH team captain Scott Taylor, of IS, or co-captains Maryellen Cotter, NP, director of Occupational Health, and Elizabeth Eagan-Bengston, RN, assistant nurse manager of Tower 12.
