The BWH NICU Strollers raised more than $10,000 during the March of Dimes Walk America event, an annual fundraiser that supports the fight against premature births, birth defects and infant mortality. Last week, members of the March of Dimes thanked the NICU, which raised more money than any other participating Boston hospital for the April event. March of Dimes officials presented the NICU with a plaque and a banner with the names and handprints of BWH NICU “graduates” at the event. It will be displayed in the NICU. Twelve BWH nurses and staff and nearly 100 NICU graduates participated in the walk.
