About 200 7th, 8th and 9th graders from Boston schools attended HMS' Reflection in Action: Building Healthy Communities™, a day-long program aimed at encouraging youth to make positive changes in the health of communities. The day included student performances, award presentations and a community health fair. Several employees of BWH and other nearby hospitals attended and ceated exhibits for the health fair.
Above, the Timilty Steppers of James P. Timilty Middle School in Roxbury perform in the New Research Building's amphitheater as student contest winners in the performance category, which also featured a rap song about preventing youth violence and a speech about standing up to peer pressure.
