Boston MedFlight (BMF) has been named program of the year by the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS), an international association, serving providers of air and surface medical transport systems.
This prestigious award recognizes an air medical program that has demonstrated a superior level of patient care, management, quality leadership through visionary and innovative approaches, customer service, safety consciousness, marketing ingenuity, community services and/or commitment to the medical transport community as a whole.
This recognition is a significant honor shared by all members of the Boston MedFlight team, and is an extraordinary testament to the dedication and excellence exhibited every day by the crew.

Aeromedical transport allows us to treat critical patients sooner when every moment is precious, and with BMF, we know the patients will have received expert care en route,” stated William Briggs, RN, MSN, CEN, nurse manager of BWH’s Emergency Department.
AAMS is a voluntary non-profit organization that encourages and supports its members in maintaining a standard of performance reflecting safe operations and efficient, high quality patient care.
