Baggs Featured at Donovan Lecture
BWH in April welcomed Judith Baggs, PhD, RN for a combined Medical and Nursing Grand Rounds with the fourth annual Frances Donovan Scholar presentation. Mrs. Frances Donovan was a longstanding supporter of Nursing and a trustee of the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. Baggs is a professor of Nursing and associate dean for Academic Affairs at University of Rochester School of Nursing, and a professor of medical humanities at the university's School of Medicine and Dentistry. Baggs' presentations included: The Association between Nurse-Physician Collaboration, Satisfaction with Decision-Making Processes, and Patient Outcomes in Three Intensive Care Units;
Writing for Publication; and The Dying Patient in the ICU: Role of Interdisciplinary Team, State of Science, and Recommendations.
