The BWPO Physician and Staff Work Life Committee has begun to meet over the past few months to address issues that add to a fulfilling work environment.
A helpful concierge service and attractive mortgage programs are among themany worklife improvement strategies brokered by the BWPO in the past. Ongoing discussion continues to explore topics such as back-upchild care; physician leadership training; automotive purchase discounts; recognition programs and other benefits to staff as identified in the results of September 2003 survey administered by the BWPO’s administration.
“Survey results provided the organization with helpful feedback to further shape our worklife enhancements,” said Andrew Sussman, MD, MBA, chair of the BWPO Physician and Staff WorkLife Committee. “Physicians and Staff are encouraged to continue to bring their quality of work life concerns and ideas to this committee,” added Sussman.
The committee is comprised of BWPO administration, Human Resources, physicians and department administrators.
