BRIght Futures Prize Competition The third annual BRIght Futures Prize Competition features three compelling projects with the potential to solve vexing medical problems. The finalists were selected through a rigorous review process, and the winner will be determined by public vote and announced at Research Day on Nov. 20. Veterans Day Celebration, Nov. 11 Join BWH in honoring veterans during its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at noon, in Cabot Atrium. All are welcome, and cake will be served following the ceremony.
Patient Safety Culture Survey Employees who work directly with patients should have received an email from Pascal Metrics Support with a link to our 2014 BWH Patient Safety Culture Survey, a confidential survey to assess BWH's culture of patient safety. The survey, which will take 10-15 minutes to complete, will help leadership understand the current culture of safety at BWH and identify areas for improvement.
Partners eCare Information Center A new Partners eCare Information Center will launch Nov. 2 at BWH. The center, located on the Pike before the bridge to the Shapiro Center, will be open through July 2015 and is a place for people to go with questions about Partners eCare and the implementation process. The center features informational videos and workstations where BWHers can log on at any time to view Partners eCare demonstrations. The grand opening takes place Tuesday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Nov. 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., with daily giveaways and demonstrations. BWHC and Partners eCare leaders will be on hand to answer questions.
