Proposed Service Standards Every person working at BWH has a significant impact on the experience we create for our patients. Given that we all represent BWH, it is important to interact with patients, colleagues and others in the work environment in a unified way. Service standards can help to accomplish this by guiding us in our behaviors and interactions. The Patient Experience Committee has proposed a set of service standards for BWH, already in use at BWFH, which are broadly applicable to all employees throughout the institution. Learn more at BWHPikeNotes.org, and share your feedback via online survey.
Workplace Wellness Researchers from the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute will be conducting focus groups to hear BWH employees' thoughts and ideas about workplace wellness programs. The groups will meet onsite at BWH, and participants will be compensated with $25 cash and a light meal as a token of appreciation for one hour of their time. Groups will primarily be held during the lunch and early evening hours. To learn more or sign up, contact Paul Werth at paul_werth@harvardpilgrim.org or 617-509-9972.
