Tour de South Shore Ride for Alzheimer’s & MS
The Third Annual McCourt Ride will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, beginning at Wompatuck State Park. Riders have the option of a 25- or 50-mile ride on a scenic coastal course through Hingham, Cohasset, Scituate and Norwell. Join BWH’s Team CBMM (Center for Brain/Mind Medicine) by registering as a rider and assigning yourself to “Team CBMM” at www.firstgiving.com/mccourtevents/tourdesouthshore.
BWH Research Day is Nov. 15
This all-day event will celebrate BWH research accomplishments, including more than 100 research posters and presentations from BWH faculty on topics such as aging, cancer, personalized medicine and more. The day will feature a keynote speaker and awards ceremony. The event is open to all BWH staff, faculty, patients, donors and the general public. Help identify and thank exceptional employees by nominating them for a Partners in Excellence (PIE) Award. These awards recognize employees for outstanding contributions to Partners’ overall success, including efforts as part of Partners’ ongoing initiative to redesign and improve the quality of the care we provide our patients. Tuition Reimbursement Program
BWH encourages continued education and career growth by offering a tuition reimbursement program, which is available to full-time and part-time employees after six months of employment. Courses must be job-related or part of an accredited undergraduate or graduate program related to a field within BWH. For questions about eligibility, e-mail BWHTuition@partners.org.
BWH Medical Library’s New Courses
The BWH Medical Library is offering new courses to help employees take advantage of the library’s resources, including instruction on using PubMed, RefWorks and advanced Google.
