Last month, for the seventh year in a row, the Wolk family returned to BWH to brighten the days of babies in the NICU and their families.
Jeffrey and Marla Wolk brought their twins sons, Ian and Oliver, and their daughter, Serenity, to deliver more than 50 blankets to babies and to share a message of hope and inspiration to parents.
Seven years ago, Marla Wolk gave birth to her twins at just 26 weeks; the boys spent the first three and a half months of their lives in the NICU.
“We are thrilled that the boys are now thriving, and we remember how difficult, lonely and often frightening it was for us during the time they were in the NICU,” said Marla Wolk. “I hope these blankets provide other families in the NICU with some peace and serenity.”
