After 35 years of service, Paul Fournier, general manager of the L-2 Patient Kitchen celebrated his retirement reception last Friday in the Pod B Cafeteria, where he was joined by many well-wishers from the BWH family.
Fournier’s service expanded to many hospital committees as well as contributions to numerous human services activities including 25 years dedicated to United Way Campaigns, the Grievance Review Board since its inception, the Second Helping Food Program of Boston, blood drives, mentoring programs and many other activities to benefit our community.
During the reception, members of the Dietary Department expressed their long lasting gratitude and paid homage to the great experience shared during Fournier’s tenure at BWH.
“Mr. Fournier made many great contributions to BWH.
He has given many chances and been a mentor to many employees during his 35 years. We wish him peace and happiness during his retirement,” said colleague and friend Donna Newcomb, operations manager, Food Services.
