This year’s open enrollment period begins Monday, Oct. 30, and ends Sunday, Nov. 19. Open enrollment is the only time of year when employees can make changes to their benefits, unless they have a qualified change of status event. Changes made during open enrollment will take effect in January.
An open enrollment package that includes employees’ Personal Benefit Summary, newsletter and medical plan comparison chart is being mailed to employees’ homes.
Beginning Oct. 30, employees can enroll online 24 hours a day, seven days a week with eBenefits, a component of PeopleSoft’s Employee Self Service module. Access eBenefits at https://ibridge.partners.org/getaccess or via Partners Applications > PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Production > Self Service > eBenefits. Step-by-step instructions for eBenefits are included in the open enrollment packet.
Employees also can enroll by phone, using the access information provided in their Personal Benefits Summary. Phone enrollment is available during the following hours through Nov. 19: Sunday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., Eastern Standard Time; and Saturday, 7 a.m. to midnight, Eastern Standard Time. Call 1-800-545-2869 using a touch-tone phone and follow the prompts. A Spanish language option is available.
Employees who want to change their benefit selections and/or enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for Health Care or Dependent Care in 2007, must enroll via eBenefits or phone by Sunday, Nov. 19.
