Brigham and Women’s Hospital mourns the loss of Fred Wilson, 58, a 30-year employee with the Materials Management Department. He passed away May 17 after a long battle with cancer.
An integral member of the Materials Management team, Mr. Wilson was known throughout the hospital as the go-to person for the coordination of product conversions and daily management of the supply stream processes.
Mr. Wilson was respected and loved by all and is sorely missed. He is survived by a significant other, Margaret Kelly; a daughter, Erica Wood; a son, Scott Woodman; brothers Daniel and Albert Wilson; sisters Jane Kegwin and Linda Wilson; a grandson; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held in Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
BWH holds a memorial service for Mr. Wilson Wednesday, June 21, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by a reception in the Materials Management Department.
