The BWH Family History Project is making it even easier for BWH employees and volunteers to compile their family health histories with the opening of an interactive center in the Cabot Atrium.
The Family History Project will staff the center through Nov. 10 to help employees complete their family health histories online using the Surgeon General’s “My Family Health Portrait.” The center has laptops and Internet connection so employees can complete their family histories online. Customized Family History Project CDs are provided for employees to save their family histories. Employees also can choose to use their own log on and save their histories to their personal H drive.
During the kick-off celebration, many BWHers learned how to complete their family health history online. In addition, ten BWHers who submitted photos to the Springtime Photo Gallery won gift certificates to Au Bon Pain.
Visit www.bwhpikenotes.org/familyhistoryproject/introduction.asp or contact staff at familyhistoryproject@partners.org or 617-525-4777 for the center’s hours and days.
