Winners have been announced for the JCAHO slogan contest. Brett Badolato, a BWPO practice secretary, was awarded first place for several of his submissions: “JCAHO keeps going and going and going...”; “There’s always room for JCAHO!”; “Whatever you’re into, get into JCAHO!”; “Four out of five physicians recommend JCAHO”; and “Stop. Go. JCAHO.”
Badolato’s slogans were selected to reflect most effectively the hospital’s focus on continual readiness. Watch for these slogans on stickers, pins and elsewhere to reinforce the hospital’s safety tenets and remind BWHers of the JCAHO readiness plan.
Andrew Madden, director of Materials Management, earned second place for, “BWH and JCAHO...One Quality Standard Every Minute Of Every Day.”
Adam Kayi, a supervisor in Environmental Services, and Cara Helfner, chief librarian of Kessler Health Education Library, tied for third place, for their slogan submissions. Kayi’s slogan was “At BWH, Safety, Quality and Confidentiality are our Anthem,” and Helfner’s was “B...Best Practices, W...Working Safely, H...Highest Standards.”
All winners earned a prize in appreciation of their creative efforts.
