Partners International Office is making available tax experts to answer questions on tax obligations for international research fellows, clinicians, and staff members. All non-immigrant visa holders must file a U.S. Income Tax Return even if they did not earn money from a U.S. source. Those who did earn money in the U.S. must file their tax returns by April 15. Those who did not earn money in the U.S. are still required to file no later than June 15.
Questions can be directed to pio.info@partners.org or 617-726-9211.
Sessions will cover: • filing requirements for foreign nationals • proper forms to use in filing tax returns • “sample” Tax Returns • tax Treaties • tax obligation based on visa type
