Beginning on February 19 the Medical Academic and Scientific Community Organization (MASCO) will launch a new shuttle service from JFK/UMASS station to the Longwood Medical Area (LMA). This new service will greatly benefit commuters traveling from areas south of Boston who ride the MBTA Commuter Rail and Red Line.
The JFK/UMASS shuttle service is free for BWH employees and will run Monday through Friday from 5:55 to 9:30 a.m. from the JFK/UMASS station to the LMA and from 3:15 to 8:10 p.m. from the LMA to the JFK/UMASS station.
The service will run every 15 minutes and make the following stops in the LMA:
The service will operate on a six-month trial basis. The continuation of the service will be dependent upon customer feedback and interest. For shuttle route details, schedules and more information visit the MASCO website at (www.masco.org) or call 617-632-2796.
