5 Digit Dialing System BWH's internal telephone dialing converts today from a four-digit dialing system to a five-digit system. For example, the phone number of 732-5555 will be dialed internally as ext. 2-5555, 525-5555 will become ext. 5-5555 and 278-5555 will becomeext. 8-5555. "2001: A Bike Odyssey" Corporate Challenge and Bike Week "2001: A Bike Odyssey" is a city-wide corporate challenge aimed to get employees to bike to work. Registration forms and fliers can be obtained from CommuteWorks. Registration deadline is May 10. On May 17, a Bike Festival held on City Hall Plaza, where the winners will be announced and a new Strida bike will be given away. Mother’s Day Compensation Mother's Day is one of the most difficult days to staff the hospital. This coming Mother's Day, BWH is pleased to offer time and half to all BWH non-exempt (hourly) employees who are scheduled and work between the hours of 11 p.m. the evening prior to Mother's Day and 11 p.m. on Mother's Day.
