BWH President Gary Gottlieb is chairman of this year's American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Walk, which raises money for cardiovascular research, advocacy and education. BWH has been the largest beneficiary of the AHA, receiving almost $6 million of $22 million in grants awarded in Greater Boston. As a way of expressing its gratitude, BWH has committed to raise $110,000 toward AHA's goal of $1.4 million. To help reach this goal, consider becoming a team captain or joining a BWH-led team by contacting hospital co-captain Debra Rogers, director of Clinical Services, at drogers7@partners.org.
