Gastroenterology #12
BWH gastroenterologists are experts in advanced endoscopic techniques and other treatments for diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas and biliary tract. BWH researchers are credited with identifying genes potentially involved in the development of gallstone disease and the pathogenesis of imflammatory diseases.
Orthopedics #13
With its success in expanding sought after services to Faulkner Hospital and the 850 Boylston Sports Medicine Center, BWH Orthopedics continues to meet the demands of its patients across the nation and around the globe.
Geriatrics #13

BWH urologists are at the forefront in treating urologic malignancies, especially prostate cancer, as well as erectile dysfunction and female urology. MRI-guided Brachytherapy, a combined effort between Urology and Radiology, is one such example.

A joint program with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a part of Partners Cancer Care, the BWH Oncology Program remains a leader in the development of new therapies for the treatment of cancer. In addition, BWH specialists utilize MRI-directed surgery to treat a growing number of cancers.
