“An extraordinary commitment”
BWH employees who have worked at the hospital for 20 or more years were honored on Thursday, June 22, at a gala dinner at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. “This dinner is for you, those who have made an extraordinary commitment not only to their careers, but to the patients who come to BWH for the highest quality care, and to the people they work with every day,” said BWH president Jeffrey Otten. In all, 137 people have worked at BWH for 20 years; 68 people have worked here for 25 years; 21 people have worked here for 30 years; three people have worked here for 35 years; one person has worked here for 40 years; and one person has been an employee of BWH and its predecessor institutions for 45 years.
