Did you resolve to quit smoking in 2012? If so, BWH can help. As part of the hospital’s initiative to become a tobacco-free campus, BWH is offering resources to support employees who would like to kick the habit. Resources include:
• The opportunity to meet with a provider through Occupational Health Services to develop a customized quit plan. Schedule a meeting by calling 617-732-6034.
• A “Stop Smoking at Work” program that includes free nicotine gum and lozenges to employees who pledge not to smoke while at work.
• Information about the Boston Public Health Commission’s free nicotine patch give-away.
• A dedicated phone line and email address for more information: TobaccoFreeBWH@ partners.org; 857-307-QUIT.
