Do you have an environmentally-friendly, cost-savings, waste-reduction idea? The Product Utilization Review Committee would like to hear from you.
The newly formed committee is hosting a ‘Go Green Contest,’ to encourage BWH employees to help identify products and practices that reduce waste and save money.
For the top five ideas, the committee will award prizes ranging from sporting event tickets and gift certificates to a grand prize of a 26-inch flat screen LCD TV.
“From personal experience, I know all of us here at BWH care deeply about the environment, and we think this contest is a great way to get those ideas out in the open and put them into action,” said Leo Buckley Jr., director of Business Services for Patient Care Services, who co-chairs the committee along with Andrew Madden, director of Materials Management.
To enter, simply e-mail your idea to BWHGoGreen@partners.org by 11:59 p.m. on March 17, or write down your idea and drop it off in the ‘Go Green Suggestion Box’ outside the Gift Shop on March 13, 16 and 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
