Phase 1 of BWH’s “Tag and Snag: You tag it, we’ll snag it” clean-up program begins today and runs through Jan. 26. During this phase, each department should designate someone to tag all unusable or outdated equipment with a “REMOVE 1/26” tag. Environmental Services will begin removing these items on Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. and continue through the next day. Managers must approve all items marked for disposal. E-mail Luis Soto at lsoto@partners.org for questions about hazardous materials and to arrange pick-up of large items, such as refrigerators. In addition, excess equipment can be stored at and returned from a free off-site storage facility. Call Transport at ext. 2-7117 to arrange. For more information on the program, e-mail jnadelson@partners.org
