BWH recently announced its Wage and Salary Program for fiscal year 2005. Employees not covered by a collective bargaining con- tract are eligible for an increase in pay of 0 to 4 percent (funded at 3 percent). As in the past, this is a merit system based on each individual’s current performance appraisal review date. The completion of a written performance evaluation rated at level three or higher is required. Those who are at or above the maximum of their pay range are eligible for a bonus of 0 to 3 percent (funded at 2 percent) on their current review date.
“We are committed to your satisfaction and that of our patients. As the two are so closely linked, I want staff to know that our leaders hold quality of work life for you and your colleagues as a high priority,” said BWH President Gary Gottlieb. “Thanks to improved channels of communication, like the Staff Survey, I promise to work with leadership to continue to follow-up on your valuable feedback to help improve BWH as a top employer.”
For more information, employees should consult their managers or HR generalist.
