Brigham and Women’s at Norwood staff recently reached out to the surrounding community of Framingham by volunteering their time, money and effort to participate in two local events—a food drive and a community dinner. During the months of January and February, staff collected, donated and delivered food and other products to stock the shelves of the Salvation Army’s food pantry, as part of the food drive.
In March, the team contributed to an 85-person community dinner at Miracle Kitchen, where they purchased and prepared food, served, and cleaned up. According to Office Manager Denise Garrow-Pruitt, the staff of Brigham and Women’s at Norwood had a great time and would gladly volunteer their talents again.
