The new www.bwhpikenotes.org intranet site recently went live in January with a new look, expanded features and a more user-friendly format. Based on a man-on-the-street survey conducted by BWH Bulletin, the feedback has been positive.
“The whole look and feel of the revised Pike Notes is improved,” said Tom O’Regan, Emergency, “I think the current configuration will facilitate people getting more comfortable with the site within a short period of time.”
The site is redesigned and according to John Lew, Human Resources “Much more user friendly and visually appealing.”
Robert Chicarello, assistant director, Security Department, said the improved site is more resourceful and easier to navigate for BWH staff. “The new search functionality is great, and the new format provideseasier access to key information.”
Along with the new look and additional information, Pike Notes site is a good way to keep BWH staff members connected to their community.
“The site is helpful in terms of connection with the community. The fact that you can move in and out of things such as clinical resources, policies and articles helps one to feel connected and informed,” said O’Regan.
