Theresa Chaisson, RN, recently graduated from the Quincy College AD Nursing Program. She was chosen by the faculty to represent the student body as the speaker at her commencement, where she was awarded both an academic achievement award and an award for clinical excellence. After taking her state board exam, she was offered the position of RN in the operating room, where has worked as a surgical technician for eight years.
“Theresa is a wonderful employee who has worked very hard to make this happen for herself,” said Connie Fleming, RN, Nurse Manager. “Many of our technicians go back to school, but not everyone does as well, wins so many awards and is as honored by the school as Theresa has been. I am very proud of her, as we all are.”
“This experience has given me a whole new respect for the RNs here,” said Chaisson. “The amount of knowledge that they walk around with is incredible.”
