Over the course of the past several months, BWH Nurse has brought you news and information that we hope you’ve found interesting and useful. Our goal all along has been to provide you with information needed to build a stronger, more connected nursing community at BWH.
As we embark upon the holidays, I wanted to take pause to say thank you for your efforts on behalf of the administration and all of the patients and families of our hospital. As our attention turns to our own families and friends at this special time of year, it is important for us to look to each other for continued support.
Your strength and guidance have made an impact on the lives of thousands of patients that have sought their care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital this past year. Your perseverance and stamina have allowed us to meet a growing demand for our services and excel in a tough health care environment. Your compassion has allowed the families of patients to work through a vast array of emotions.
The role of a nurse is at once gratifying and demanding. Know that your kindness and talent are appreciated now and throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Nancy Kruger, DNSc, RN
Vice President, Patient Care Services Chief Nursing Officer
