Partnering with Med Com, Inc., a long-time educational service provider, BWH was chosen to pilot this new web-based program. After fine-tuning the program for over a year, a committee of nurses, under the leadership of Judy Hayes, Peggy McCarthy Mogan, Diane Hanley, Cathy Saniuk and Carol Luppi, has recently completed a test run in the Center for Labor and Delivery and conducted training for nurse educators. Beginning in July, nurse managers and staff will be introduced and trained on the new system.
“This program will allow us to enhance communication between nurses and their managers and overall it presents a huge improvement in the way educational information is organized, how efficiently it is tracked and our ability to generate reports,” said Luppi.
