The opening Quality Round lecture will be held Friday, Sept. 18, with the topic “Embarking on Inpatient Electronic Documentation at MGH and BWH: Challenges and Opportunities,” presented by Marcy Carty, MD, MPH, director, Clinical Operations Improvement, and Denise Goldsmith, RN, MPH, manager, Nursing Informatics. 5th annual CME Course, Oct. 2-4
BWH Department of Medicine and the HMS Department of Continuing Education are partnering with the American College of Physicians to host “The Genetic Basis of Adult Medicine: What the Primary Care Provider Needs to Know.” This three-day course is designed to allow practicing clinicians the opportunity to acquire an up-to-date understanding of “genetic medicine for adults” from faculty who work at the interface between the emerging science and the growing clinical applications. Harvard CME Course, Nov. 13-15
“Active Doctors, Active Patients: The Science and Experience of Exercise,” presented by the Dr. Eddie Phillips and the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, is Nov. 13-15, in the Hyatt Regency and Sports Club/LA. This two-and-half day, highly interactive, exercise-centered course will present the state of the science of physical activity/exercise, nutrition, stress management and coaching psychology. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample a wide range of fitness and wellness activities such as Pilates, spinning, resistance training, and boxing and cardio conditioning.
