MLK Celebration, Jan. 20
Join BWH's Association of Multicultural Members of Partners on Jan. 20, at 10 a.m., in Bornstein Amphitheater for an inspirational concert and tribute in honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The tribute will include the 2015 BWH YMCA award achievers, a musical performance and Orchard Garden Elementary School's first-grade class reciting the "I Have A Dream Speech." Job Shadow Day, Feb. 6
BWH Workforce Development (WFD) is looking for departments to host students for a half day for the 20th annual Job Shadow Day on Friday, Feb. 6. This is a great opportunity for youths to shadow a professional and learn about different careers within the health care industry. If you are interested, contact WFD at 857-307-3738 or bwhwfd@partners.org.
Partners eCare Training
More than 14,000 BWHC employees will receive training on how to use Partners eCare. Staff must complete this critical training in order to receive a log-in. Staff Training (for all employees except physicians): Department administrators (DAs) are working to register new users for specific training courses based on their roles. Staff will receive an email confirming the date, time and other details of their training courses. Physician Registration: Physicians only will register for training by calling the training call center. Your DA will reach out to you when registration is open to your department. Once registered, you will receive an email confirming the date, time and other pre-requisite requirements of the training courses to which you are assigned. Most training classes will be held at Lafayette City Center, 2 Avenue de Lafayette, in Boston. Shuttles will be provided. Contact your department manager with questions, or visit the PeC@BWHC information booth near the Shapiro bridge.
