Public Area Posting Guidelines
Environmental Services provides a limited supply of easels for public-area poster displays that promote participation in hospital-sponsored programs and events. Posters must be 36” by 24”, may be erected up to 10 days in advance of an event and are limited to two per event/program. They will be posted on a “first come, first served” basis. Hospital-wide events have precedence over department-specific events. Easels may be placed in the Cafeteria bridge (no more than 6 at a time), the Connors Center Lobby (3), the Cabot Atrium Lobby (3), the PBB Lobby (3) and the Bornstein Amphitheater Entrance (2). The user will be responsible for mounting poster on easel provided. Environmental Services will remove and dispose of posters at the conclusion of each event/program unless prior arrangements have been made. Postings not in compliance with the above parameters will be removed without notice. Easel requests should be e-mailed to Al Fernandes, Environmental Services Manager (afernandes@partners.org) two business days in advance. Requests should specify preferred date, time and location(s) of easel setup and contact information.
Special Winter Perk
Cranmore/Loon/Waterville Discounted ski coupons are available to all BWH employees for Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley and Cranmore Mountain. “Weekend” coupons, valid any day of the week (including weekends and holidays), are $41. “Weekday” coupons, valid Monday through Friday only (no holidays), are $36. Coupons can be exchanged for one of three different introductory skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing packages. Monthly drawings at all three resorts using redeemed coupons will give away prizes, such as a trip for two people to Northstar at Tahoe. Ski coupons are available during regular ticket sale hours at the Perks Office. Limit 6 coupons per purchase. Call the Perks Office at ext. 6584 for more information.
Mothers’ Corner
The Mothers’ Corner at BWH is a private, comfortable room available to all BWH and Partners employees returning to work after maternity leave. This room enables women to express milk while at work, allowing them to continue breastfeeding their infants while easing the transition back into work after maternity leave. Available seven days/week and 24 hours/day to accommodate all work schedules, the Mother’s Corner is located on the 9th Floor, Room 958, of the Connors Center for Women’s Health. Call Lactation Support Services at ext. 8045 for more information.
