Flu Season Has Arrived
Are you ready for JCAHO?
Pike Notes
The flu season has arrived, and Occupational Health Service recommends all employees and volunteers receive flu vaccine to protect themselves, their families and our patients. Symptoms of influenza may occur within one-three days after contact with someone who has influenza, and include high fever, chills, cough, fatigue and muscle aches. If you have these symptoms, you should notify OHS and remain out of work until the symptoms are gone. The flu vaccine is available on a walk-in basis in the OHS, ASB 1, level 2 from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Call ext. 6034 for more information.
