More than 160 physician trainees joined BWH’s residency programs in 1999. Historically, BWH is the match for many of the nation’s best and brightest medical students in specialties ranging from Anesthesiology, Urology, and Medicine to Obstetrics/Gynecology, Surgery, and Radiology. The hospital is the classroom for trainees like Tom Sequist, MD, above, as he discusses cases with Marshall Wolf, MD, vice chair of Medical Education and director of Medical Residency Training. Says Wolf, “The quality of residents, both personally and academically, as well as the opportunity to care for patients with a talented and enthusiastic staff, make the BWH medical residency program the most sought after in the world.”
