Human Resources is pleased to announce an increase in the limit for the voluntary Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA) program, also called the 403(b) program. Effective January 1, 2002, the maximum you can contribute through payroll deduction is $11,000.
If you will be 50 years of age or older by December 31, 2002, the new maximum you may contribute in 2002 is $12,000. These changes result from the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001.
To make a change to your payroll deduction, employees can file a new Salary Reduction Agreement. These forms are available in Human Resources, or online at (http://is.partners.org/hr). (Click on Forms, scroll down to BWH, then to Records Processing, click on Salary Reduction Agreement). Once completed, the Salary Reduction Agreement form should be sent to the Partners Benefits Office at 101 Merrimac Street, 5th Floor.
