October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month Up to four million women in America are victims of domestic abuse each year. To raise awareness within the BWH community, Passageway offers domestic violence advocacy and assistance groups for employees and patients. Training and consultation with Passageway staff is available 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. For more information about Passageway programs, call ext. 2-8753. For 24-hour assistance, Safelink, a free multilingual hotline service, is available for all Massachusetts residents at 877-785-2020.
Monthly Body Screening October 2 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. BWH Cafeteria Visit with Fitcorp professionals to receive a free body composition analysis. Fitness and wellness information will be distributed along with several raffle prizes. For more information, call ext. 2-7111.

BWH Baby Jogger Bustle October 8 12 p.m. Boston Common Team Brigham is hosting the BWH Baby Jogger Bustle during the 25th annual Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women. Runners will commit to raising a minimum of $150 for the Perinatal Case Management Program at BWH.
