South Street Development, 17 St. Rose Street, Jamaica Plain This event, sponsored in part by the Office for Women, Family and Community Programs, is part of a larger campaign that will bring together key community based activities with national efforts that are ultimately aimed at eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health status. There will be a teen dating violence workshop by Sisters Teaching About Relationships (STAR), a self-defense demonstration by Liz Pennell (author of Self Defense for Women) and a presentation by Averi Johnston, advocate, Renewal House.
