Students from the Health Adventures program observe as Sophia Chambers, RN, Cardiac Surgery simulates a cardiac exam on student Carlos Soto. The “adventure” taught students about the care involved in a hospital visit. Health Adventures is a nation-wide mentoring program that gives middle school students the chance to learn about health care careers. The program at BWH is a collaboration between the Volunteer and Community Access Program and the after-school program MissionSAFE.
