Friday, February 9 Minot Room, 5th Floor, Countway Library, HMS 12-1:15 p.m. The workshop “Helping Children Make a Positive Adjustment to Divorce” will help parents identify the changes and losses they and their children have been facing during and in the aftermath of a divorce. Parents will learn the behaviors and feelings children typically express, and responses that will promote positive adjustment to the situation. Ways that parents can work to heal themselves will also be discussed. The speaker will be Patricia Marquis, LICSW, early childhood consultant and parent educator. Participants are welcome to bring lunch. Call Barbara Wolf at 432-1615 for more information.
