: Welcome Back
Anthony “Tony” Autori will be returning to BWH as executive director of Patient Business Systems. Autori originally began his work at BWH in an entry-level position in the Finance Office. After moving through several levels of management during the early years of the Affiliated Hospitals Center and BWH consolidations, he left 18 years later as a senior manager in Financeand went to the newly created Partners Corporate Finance Office, where he remained for the past six years. In his new position, Autori will be responsible for patient based revenues and related systems and processes. He will directly supervise the Registration function and the Ambulatory Business Office. He will also have a coordinative relationship with the Admitting Office, and will maintain a shared reporting relationship with the Corporate Revenue Functions Department. “I’m delighted about the opportunity to come back to what I might consider my alma mater, my training ground for health care,” said Autori. “Both my wife Paula and I have worked here for the same amount of time—BWH has become part of our family. Adds Autori, “I hope to aid in the continuation of the exceptional work that BWH management has done improving the revenue process, including all of the revenue-generating department heads and administration and management support. I’m also looking forward to working directly with registration personnel who deal with patients on a daily basis, and who represent one of the many exceptional customer service relationships we develop with our patients.” Autori’s office will be located on PBB-Clinics-3.
