Balanced Scorecard Gets Upgrade
The Balanced Scorecard (BSC), the online data management system that allows BW/F leaders and staff easy access to reports on quality and performance measures, got a new look and feel and several new features in June.
Nearly 1,500 BSC users will see an improved design and easier navigation to important data and reports. With the new upgrades, users can create personal pages, set alerts for specific performance measures, find priority metrics more quickly and explore data more deeply through new interactive reports.
"These enhancements improve our ability to focus on care improvement and performance within specific units, divisions and departments, as well as across Brigham and Women's/Faulkner Hospitals," said G. Troy Tomilonus, director of Decision Support Systems in the Center for Clinical Excellence.
Many training sessions are scheduled for June and July. To sign-up for a 60-minute class, discuss other training options, or ask questions about the system, contact Tanya Zucconi at tzucconi@partners.org or 617-732-6547. For e-mails, please put "New BSC Training" in the subject line.
