Emergency Preparedness Video Screening, Nov. 8 In light of recent events across the country, BWH is introducing a new procedure and training video about how to respond to an active shooter situation. Although the likelihood of this kind of emergency occurring at BWH is low, the potential impact is catastrophic, and therefore we must ensure that our staff knows how to respond. On Nov. 8, the video can be viewed by BWHers in Bornstein Amphitheater, running every half hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you have questions about the video or emergency preparedness at BWH, email Robert Chicarello at rchicarello@partners.org. The video can also be viewed at BWHPikeNotes.org.

Flu Vaccination Attestation Employees are required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to document in PeopleSoft that they have either received a vaccination or declined to be vaccinated. If you receive your vaccine through BWH Occupational Health clinics or the Peer-to-Peer program, this attestation will be automatically entered into PeopleSoft for you. All other employees must log in to PeopleSoft to document when and where they received flu vaccine, or that they have chosen to decline.
