Presidential politics took center stage this week as hundreds of BWHers attended the Center for Bioethics Rounds, “Health Care in the Next Administration: An Analysis of the Barack Obama and John McCain Proposals.” Approximately 200 BWH staff and visitors packed the Bornstein Amphitheater to hear Tom Miller, JD, of the American Enterprise Institute, detail the health care plan of Sen. John McCain, the Republican nominee for president, while David Cutler, professor of Applied Economics at Harvard, represented the Democratic nominee, Sen. Barack Obama. View their presentations at BWHPikeNotes.org. Get more information about future Center for Bioethics Rounds at www.brighamandwomens.org/ethics.
