The telephone and voicemail system throughout the Main Campus and Shapiro Center will be unavailable Sunday, Oct. 19, between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. During the outage, all incoming calls will be answered at MGH by a BWH operator who will have the ability to page in critical situations. Red emergency telephones will be operational. Direct questions to Rich Crowley at 617-732-7728 or Kevin Mellyn at 617-525-9010.
Now you can check BWHPikeNotes.org/communityconnects.asp to see what’s playing on BWH Community Connects, the system of TV screens across the campus displaying internal announcements and event listings.
Effective Nov. 1, the old BWH ID badges are no longer a valid form of identification. If you still have one, please drop it off at any BWH Security Desk. New badges can be obtained in the ID Office at the Neville House.
All BWH employees are welcome to sign up for the hospital’s co-ed basketball league. Games begin in December, but the rosters must be set by the end of October. The cost is $500 per team, split among 10 to 12 players per team. Contact Roger Masiello at rmasiello@partners.org or Kevin Anger at kanger@partners.org to sign up, and specify if you are interested in being a team captain.
