BWH’s debut INParty last month raised $1.28 million for community health programs with an evening gala that focused on innovation, inspiration and incredible care.
More than 500 BWH donors, employees and guests gathered at the InterContinental Hotel Boston for the Sept. 20 party, featuring singer Michael Cavanaugh, best known for his role as the star vocalist and pianist in the hit Broadway musical “Movin’ Out.”
Amid Billy Joel tunes and dancing, guests showed their support for community health programs.
“Thank you for your incredible generosity,” said BWH President Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, who hosted the party. “Your donations help us to sustain and build programs that benefit countless members of our own community, which is at the heart of the hospital’s mission.”
Beth and Carmine Martignetti and Heidi and Scott Schuster co-chaired the event, with Michele and Howard Kessler and Elaine and Gerald Schuster serving as honorary co-chairs.
