BWH Community Connects, a TV system with more than a dozen LCD screens throughout the distributed campus, now displays internal messages, announcements and event listings to employees throughout BWH. The hospital is poised to transition away from posters and easels in the main public areas and hallways.
“Through our internal communications audit and from additional feedback, we know we needed to modernize some of our communications vehicles,” said Peter R. Brown, vice president of Public Affairs. “With screens across our campus, this is another step in truly connecting our community.”
As of Sept. 2, posters and easels will no longer appear in high-traffic areas, including along the Pike and Lower Pike, outside BWH cafeteria, the Main Lobby at 75 Francis St., Cabot Atrium, the Peter Bent Brigham Rotunda and 850 Boylston St. Posters still can be used within departments.
In late August and early September, BWH Public Affairs is working with department leaders throughout the hospital to identify staff who should have access to submit and publish announcements on BWH Community Connects. If you would like messages displayed on this new system or request access to the system for yourself or a colleague, contact Public Affairs at 617-534-1600 or BWHCommunityConnects@partners.org
