BWH Marketing and Planning and Partners IS are improving the usability and appeal of the public-facing Web site, brighamandwomens.org
With phase one this spring, BWH launched a complete redesign of the home page that coincided with the opening of the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center. The new home page prominently features the Shapiro Center and makes it easier for visitors to perform the tasks that are more important to them.
Since the launch, there has been a significant increase in the number of visits to Center of Excellence pages and to the health information content. With the addition of “Condition Finder” links, visitors easily can access health information topics.
Next steps include updating the site’s navigation to make it easier for visitors to find information and extending the updated look throughout the site.
