Celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Friday, Feb. 1. The BWH Center for Community Health and Health Equity and the Center for Surgery and Public Health sponsor a presentation by Juan Williams, NPR correspondent, political analyst for Fox Television and author of “Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965,” at 3 p.m., in Bornstein Amphitheater. Immediately following the celebration is a reception in the Pod B Cafeteria honoring King’s daughter, Yolanda Denise King. Selwyn Rogers, MD, MPH, director of Surgical Critical Care, presents “Personalizing the Dream,” with performances by BWH Idol winners Angela Perry and Sherlock Douglas and a special video presentation. The reception is hosted by Human Resources Organizational Development and Learning and AMMP.
