Christine Rioux in December was promoted to director of Clinical Services at BWH. In this role, she helps address strategic, operational and compliance issues while working collaboratively with physician, nursing and pharmacy leadership.
“Christine has proved to be an incredibly capable manager and an absolute pleasure to work with. She has become an important business partner supporting Clinical Services,” said Elizabeth Glaser, vice president of Clinical Services.
Rioux joined BWH in June 2007 as a Clinical Services project manager. Prior to that, she served as a captain in the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps, where she was the director of Medical Logistics and Facility Management at the 66th Medical Group at Hanscom Air Force Base, group practice manager of Surgical Services and director of Patient Administration for the 6th Medical Group at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., and control center director at the Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility in Balad, Iraq. Rioux earned her MPA from Syracuse University.
